Mission Statement To improve quality of life in our neighborhoods through the reduction of crime and disorder. By engaging residents, police, businesses, clergy, and neighborhood organizations in developing comprehensive, pro-active, and preventative strategies.
Primary Services Go to root of crime problems from trash dropping, to getting rid of rodents, to handling neighborhood conflicts. Child ID kits for schools, safety academies, safety fiestas, Best Taste of Southwest in Clark Park (August 15, 2004)
Eligibility Southwest Detroit residents living in the Empowerment Zone.
Populations Served 3rd/4th Precinct; English(50%)/Spanish(50%), senior citizens, mostly aged 19 and older, African-Americans, Latinos, White, Middle-Eastern (in almost = numbers), very diverse popuation, more women usually participate; men and women are served equally.
